Bandarban, Chittagong Hill Tracts
Nafakhum is one of the largest and most breathtaking waterfalls in Bangladesh, hidden deep inside the Chittagong Hill Tracts. This 2-day guided trek takes you through dense forest trails, across crystal-clear streams, and rewards you with a view that very few people get to see in their lifetime.
The journey combines a night bus from Dhaka, a scenic boat ride through the Sangu river, and a moderate forest trek to reach the falls. You'll spend a night at base camp under an open sky — if you're lucky, completely free of city noise and light pollution.

Day 1: Dhaka → Bandarban → Thanchi → Base camp 9:30 PM – Night bus departs from Kalyanpur, Dhaka 5:30 AM – Arrive Bandarban town, freshen up & breakfast 8:00 AM – CNG ride to Thanchi Bazar (2.5 hrs) 11:00 AM – Boat ride up the Sangu river to Remakri (2 hrs) 1:00 PM – Lunch break at Remakri 2:30 PM – Trek through forest trail to Nafakhum (1.5 hrs) 4:00 PM – Arrive at Nafakhum waterfall — free time to swim & explore 6:30 PM – Return to camp, dinner under the stars Night – Camp at Thanchi base Day 2: Base camp → Bandarban → Dhaka 6:00 AM – Sunrise walk back to Remakri 7:30 AM – Breakfast, pack up camp 9:00 AM – Boat back to Thanchi Bazar 11:00 AM – CNG back to Bandarban town 1:00 PM – Lunch + free time at hill market 3:00 PM – Explore Bandarban town (optional) 9:00 PM – Night bus departs for Dhaka Next morning – Arrive Dhaka
